In keeping with the vintage look....

Here's a card I made using the Vintage City Scrapblock from Cornish Heritage Farms and some Graphic 45 papers. The sentiment is from the Rummage Bin We Remember set.

All aboard the B and O railroad!!

Last week, Cornish Heritage Farms introduced a new line of stamps called B&O Railroad. You can see the wonderful stamps for this line in the gallery (lots more to be released soon!!).

This is a vintage card I did using the East West Historic Poster stamp from this line. I stamped the image onto some distressed cardstock (Basic Grey) and added a hint of colour with some Prisma pencils.

Light up the 'que!

Well, I think it's safe to say that bbq season is officially here!!

I created a summer bbq invite using Kim Hughes' Summer Trees set from Cornish Heritage Farms. I used papers from Fancy pants and coloured the images with pencils and baby oil.

Reach 4 the Stars

Today is release day for TWO new stamps at Cornish Heritage Farms: Rummage Bin Reach 4 the Stars set and the Astronomy Scrapblock. These two stamps/set work amazing together!

This is one of those situations where the photo does not do this card justice. It's difficult to tell but this card is super glittery. I heat embossed the scrapblock in silver on dark paper. The star is inked in platinum ink with stickles around the outside.

We Remember

May's Rummage Bin release at Cornish Heritage Farms is a wonderful vintage war themed set called "We Remember" that was designed by the talented Lisa Silver.

The coolest thing about this stamp set is that there are stories and memories behind the design of this set. You can read more about the background on Lisa's blog.

Today I'll share with you two cards I made using this set. For the first card I used the image of the soldiers and stamped "Missing You" on the inside.

For the second card I found a Remembrance day poppy in my junk drawer and used it in my design. For those of you who don't know---in Canada the Veterans sell red velvet poppies as a symbol of remembrance. I thought it would be perfect to use as an embellishment on my card.

Father's Day is just around the corner

And the new Mona Lisa Moments Father's Day centers from Cornish Heritage Farms are a great stamp set to add to your collection. There are lots of wonderful masculine sentiments in the set that can be used for many occasions other than just Father's Day.


These are two cards I made using the new stamps. On both cards I used the Thomas Kinkade Masculine series papers which are just PERFECT with this set.

It's Kim Hughes release day---Summer Trees!!

Nothing says summer like picnics and barbecues and this month's Kim Hughes release (available today!!) from Cornish Heritage Farms is just perfect for such events.

Here's a close up look at this super cute set. It pairs really nicely with a lot of Kim's other sets. As you can see here, I used the bear from the Bear Hugs set.

Today I'm going to show you a card I made using the new Kim Hughes Summer Trees set from Cornish Heritage Farms. But you'll have to be patient because the stamps won't be released until May 7th!!

On this card I used the new Basic Grey Lime Ricky papers and did some paper piecing with the stamps.

Today's tip: Add some shading to your patterned paper using Copic markers or pencil crayons. As you can see on both the tree and the grasshopper stamp I used a green pencil to add more dimension.
